CALL FOR PAPERS

The Italian Conference on CyberSecurity (ITASEC) is an annual event supported and organized by the CINI Cybersecurity National Lab.

The 2024 edition will take place in Salerno, from April 8th to April 11th, 2024. The venue is Grand Hotel Salerno, Lungomare Clemente Tafuri, 1, 84127 – Salerno – ITALY

As in previous editions, ITASEC includes a Scientific and Technical (S&T) Track whose purpose is to gather Italian researchers working in the field of cybersecurity.

The S&T track of ITASEC represents the major annual event of the Italian cybersecurity community.

It is thought as a forum to meet, discuss, and exchange experiences among people coming from academy and industry who are interested in cybersecurity and all its applications.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • February 29, 2024 (EXTENDED): Deadline for Paper submission
  • March 21, 2024: Author notification

PAPER SUBMISSION

ITASEC24 solicits two kinds of submissions:

  • Original, unpublished contributions that will be included in an open-access post-proceeding volume of CEUR Workshop Proceedings, indexed by both Scopus and DBLP;
  • Already published or preliminary work that will not be included in the post-proceedings volume.

Authors are requested to clearly indicate whether their paper should be included in the proceedings volume.

Submissions are single blind and may indicate name and affiliation of the authors.

A selection of the best papers will be asked to be extended in forthcoming dedicated Special Issues in indexed journals. Authors of works of particular interest and quality would be asked about directly publishing their contribution in special issues.

Any paper related to cybersecurity is welcome. Topics of interest encompass all areas of cybersecurity, including research domains such as:

WORKSHOP PROPOSALS

It is planned to have workshops on the day preceding the conference.

Workshops are intended to allow projects or any other group of authors to present their own work.

Workshops may include invited speakers, papers, and panels.    The structure of workshops is not fixed, and proposers may design it as they think best. Proposers are responsible for defining the full contents of the Workshop, namely the authors and presenters. It is not expected that open calls for papers are launched for Workshops, in order to attract authors or presenters.

Proposers should provide information on the Title, Duration, Motivation and Background, Structure, and associated Technical Programme Committee. Additional information on previous editions or promotion plans can also be provided, if applicable.

Publication of contributions presented at workshops will be independently managed, if needed, by the workshop chair(s).

Workshop proposals should be sent by email to the Program Chairs. The proposal must be submitted from 2024 Jan. 1st until the deadline on 2024 Jan. 26th.
